Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee tax compliance and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes to assist in financial planning.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the accounting and finance department to optimise processes.
  • Assist in implementing financial policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

  • Strong experience in financial reporting and analysis within the professional services industry.
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and communicate financial information clearly.
