About Our Client

This organisation operates in the property industry and is based in London.

Job Description

  • Prepare consolidated financial statements for the group, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end reporting processes, including variance analysis and reconciliations.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with Debt and Derivative reporting
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the group's systems.
  • Monitor and implement changes in accounting regulations and standards.
  • Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Group Accountant should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and consolidation processes.
  • Experience in group accounting within the property industry or a related sector.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
