Job Description

  • Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial and operational controls.
  • Identify and evaluate risks within the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Develop and recommend improvements to internal control processes.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit findings.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in the Energy & Natural Resources sector.
  • Support the development of best practices in auditing and risk management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Internal Auditor should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or auditing (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in internal auditing, ideally within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in identifying and mitigating risks in financial and operational processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
