Job Description

Senior Manager - Systems Engineering, Reading:

  • Lead the development and integration of complex engineering systems.
  • Leads, manages and develops a multidisciplinary Systems Engineering team.
  • Sets the systems engineering strategy, technical direction and priorities.
  • Oversees requirements, system architecture, integration and technical delivery.
  • Leads verification and validation activity across complex programmes.
  • Drives model-based systems engineering and digital engineering practices.
  • Chairs technical reviews and resolves complex engineering issues and risks.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure adherence to technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address engineering challenges.
  • Oversee system testing, validation and troubleshooting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project budgets and resource allocation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within systems engineering practices.

The Successful Applicant
