Job Description

  • Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns in compliance with current regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on tax planning strategies to clients.
  • Ensure timely submission of all tax filings and related documentation.
  • Assist with audits and liaise with HMRC as required.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Support clients with VAT and other indirect tax matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data confidentiality.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Tax Accountant should have:

  • Extensive knowledge of UK tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • A professional qualification in accountancy or taxation (e.g., ACCA, ACA, ATT, or CTA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience within the professional services industry is preferred.
