  • Manage tax compliance processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Oversee VAT reporting and filings, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns and related documentation.
  • Support internal teams with tax-related queries and guidance.
  • Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and advise on implications.
  • Collaborate with external advisors on complex tax matters as needed.
  • Monitor and improve internal tax processes for greater efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and summaries for management on tax and VAT activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Tax and VAT Assistant should have:

  • Strong knowledge of tax compliance and VAT regulations.
  • Experience working within the property sector or a related field.
  • Proficiency in managing tax processes and reporting requirements.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A professional qualification in tax or a related discipline (e.g., ATT, CTA) is preferred.
