As the Sustainability Manager, you will play a key role in driving the sustainability and ESG agenda for this well known, high end drinks brand. Based in London, this long term contract role offers an excellent opportunity to implement and improve sustainable practices within the business. You wiull build and deploy the sustainability strategy across the EMEA region.

Job Description

As the Sustainability Manager, you will:

  • Develop and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with the company's ESG goals.
  • Monitor and report on the organisation's environmental impact and progress towards sustainability targets.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to integrate sustainable practices into day-to-day operations.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including suppliers and partners, to promote sustainable business practices.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant sustainability regulations and industry standards in the retail sector.
  • Conduct research on emerging trends and innovations in sustainability to inform strategy development.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on sustainability best practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sustainability Manager should have:

  • A strong understanding of sustainability and ESG principles, particularly in the retail industry.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives within organisations.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and reporting on environmental impact metrics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant sustainability regulations and industry standards.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying innovative solutions.
