Job Description

  • Oversee corporate tax compliance and ensure timely submissions.
  • Manage tax reporting processes, including preparation of tax disclosures and returns.
  • Provide expert tax advice to internal stakeholders on business initiatives.
  • Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities in line with current regulations.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
  • Collaborate with external advisors to handle tax audits and queries.
  • Support the finance team with tax-related matters and training where needed.
  • Maintain accurate tax records and ensure compliance with internal controls.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax Manager should have:

  • A strong understanding of UK corporate tax regulations and compliance.
  • Professional qualifications in tax or accountancy, such as CTA, ACA, or ACCA.
  • Experience in industry in a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
