Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsCompetitive day rate of £400 - £420 a day inside IR35Lead a high-profile portfolio with executive stakeholder exposure.About Our ClientAn organisation within the financial services industry, located in London.Job DescriptionLead end-to-end delivery of multiple Production Management & Service Delivery initiatives.Manage a portfolio of approximately eight concurrent projects and workstreams.Develop and maintain project plans, delivery roadmaps and implementation schedules.Oversee project budgets, financial tracking and forecasting activities.Drive delivery of operational resilience initiatives and regulatory commitments.Lead monitoring and observability programmes, including SOC-related enhancements.Support expansion of service management and operational support capabilities.Deliver application improvements, including SSO implementation and production-focused enhancements.Coordinate resources, dependencies and deliverables across technology, operations and third-party suppliers.Establish governance forums, steering committees and executive reporting routines.Manage project risks, issues, controls and escalation processes.Facilitate stakeholder workshops, planning sessions and governance meetings.Ensure operational readiness, testing and service transition activities are successfully completed.Contribute to strategic roadmap planning, business cases and resource management.Drive continuous improvement across production management, service delivery and operational processes.The Successful ApplicantA successful Technical Delivery Manager should have:Strong Technical Delivery Management and Project Management background.Proven experience delivering technology and operational change within financial services.Experience managing budgets, forecasts and financial governance.Strong knowledge of IT Service Management disciplines, including Incident, Problem, Change and Service Level Management.Experience working within IT Operations, Production Support or Service Delivery environments.Knowledge of operational resilience, regulatory frameworks and governance controls.Experience delivering monitoring, observability and service improvement initiatives.Ability to manage complex cross-functional programmes with multiple dependencies.Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging senior leadership teams.Excellent planning, coordination and organisational capabilities.Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.Experience working closely with technical teams across infrastructure, applications and support functions.Understanding of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches.PRINCE2, PMP, Agile and/or ITIL certifications desirable.What's on OfferDaily rate: £400 to £420, dependent on the level of experience.Temporary position with opportunities to make an impact in a key area of the business.If you're interested in this role, apply now.People are at the heart of Michael Page.
