Job Description

The Treasury Manager will lead and manage compliance with all property-related loan covenants, overseeing the creation, maintenance, and disposal of secured assets. The role ensures adherence to policies and regulatory requirements while supporting transformation projects that improve service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management
    • Manage Treasury Property Analysts, providing coaching, training, and performance support.
    • Oversee day-to-day property-related treasury transactions to ensure covenant compliance.
  • Strategy & Objectives
    • Manage programmes of valuations, charging, and disposals to support Treasury and wider organisational projects.
    • Prepare high-quality reporting on security analysis, reconciliation, and forecasting.
  • Internal Collaboration
    • Work with internal stakeholders to optimise property assets and manage Treasury risks.
  • External Collaboration
    • Project-manage professional advisers and lenders for property-related aspects of Treasury projects.
  • Budgetary Responsibility
    • Prepare forecasts for property-related costs and deliver within budget.
  • Compliance
    • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, regulatory, and governance requirements.
  • Records & Systems
    • Maintain accurate property records and systems regarding charged and unencumbered assets.
  • Risk Management
    • Ensure Treasury Property procedures are documented and aligned with organisational policies and funding agreements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualifications: AMCT or equivalent desirable
  • Experience:Practical experience leading property-related Treasury transactions in a busy Treasury or Finance team.
  • Sector experience desirable.
  • Leadership:Experience in coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Comfortable operating in a matrix environment.
  • Finance & Commercial Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication & Influencing:
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills across stakeholders.
  • IT Skills:
  • Advanced Excel and proficiency in Treasury and Finance software
