Job Description

A prestigious international law firm is seeking a Knowledge Management Lawyer to support its Trust & Private Wealth practice. Based within the firm's knowledge function, the successful candidate will help develop and maintain knowhow resources, provide technical legal support, monitor legal developments, and contribute to the firm's broader knowledge and innovation strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Legal Support

  • Respond to legal research and technical queries from fee earners.
  • Monitor legal and market developments and communicate key updates to lawyers.
  • Support lawyers in staying current with changes in legislation, regulation, and market practice.



Knowledge & Precedent Management

  • Create, maintain, and enhance precedents, templates, and knowhow materials.
  • Manage and improve access to knowledge resources across the practice.
  • Encourage engagement with and contribution to the firm's knowledge systems.



Training & Development

  • Design and deliver legal and knowledge-based training programmes.
  • Work closely with partners and stakeholders to identify training needs.
  • Support ongoing professional development initiatives across the practice.



Thought Leadership & Innovation

  • Contribute to client alerts, legal updates, and thought leadership content.
  • Work with partners and business services teams to identify relevant topics and opportunities.
  • Support wider knowledge management projects, including document automation and knowledge platform development.



Candidate Profile

  • Qualified lawyer in a recognised common law jurisdiction.
  • Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Strong background in Trusts, Private Wealth, or related practice areas.
  • Excellent legal drafting, research, and technical analysis skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Previous Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) or knowledge management experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with an interest in legal innovation and knowledge sharing.
