Job Description

What you'll be doing

  • Providing day‑to‑day advice and guidance to managers on a wide range of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability.
  • Supporting and coaching managers to build confidence in people management and ER processes.
  • Ensuring all cases are managed promptly, professionally and in line with company policy and employment legislation.
  • Working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders to support business objectives and promote best practice.
  • Producing accurate HR documentation, reports and case notes.
  • Supporting wider HR projects and contributing to continuous improvement across the function.
  • Maintaining confidentiality, data accuracy and GDPR compliance at all times.



The Successful Applicant

What we're looking for

  • 1-3 years' experience in an ER‑focused HR role.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships.
  • Confident working under pressure and managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Experience supporting investigations or consultations (TUPE experience is a bonus).
  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent experience - and a desire to progress to Level 5 (fully funded).
