Job Description

  • Manage tax compliance processes, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies for the organisation.
  • Handle tax reporting and manage relationships with external tax advisors.
  • Provide guidance on tax implications for business decisions and transactions.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
  • Support internal teams with tax-related queries and training as needed.
  • Prepare and review tax provisions for financial reporting purposes.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant tax regulations and policies.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Tax Manager should have:

  • Strong knowledge of tax compliance and legislation, particularly within the UK.
  • Proven expertise in developing and managing tax strategies.
  • Experience in tax reporting and liaising with external advisors.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage complex financial data.
  • A professional tax qualification or equivalent experience.
