My client is an FMCG Business steeped in heritage with a fantastic range of brand and own label products, supplying the local Isle of Man customers, UK and Export Markets.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement the sales strategy to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead and manage the sales team, ensuring optimal performance and motivation.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the FMCG sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales decisions.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive revenue growth while maintaining the company's reputation for quality and service.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Sales should have:

  • Proven experience managing major UK Retailers and have managed a small team
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
  • A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Capability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
