They are looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller for a 3-5 month assignment while they recruit on a permanent basis.

Job Description

  • Oversee all financial reporting and accounting operations within the organisation.
  • Improvement systems and accounting practises
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies.
  • Prepare and present financial statements and management accounts.
  • Manage cash flow and forecast financial performance.
  • Support the budgeting process and provide financial insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and manage audit processes effectively.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead and guide the finance team to achieve operational goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  • Experience in managing and developing finance teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - excel
  • The ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools
