Job Description

  • Oversee group financial control activities to maintain clear and reliable financial information.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of financial control work within the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Review financial information to help ensure it is accurate, complete and ready for internal use.
  • Coordinate group reporting activities to provide a consistent view of financial performance.
  • Maintain organised financial records and documentation throughout the temporary assignment.
  • Work with relevant colleagues to resolve financial control queries promptly and clearly.
  • Identify areas where financial processes can be made clearer and more efficient.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Interim Group Financial Controller' should have:

  • Experience of group financial control and reporting activities.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting processes and financial information review.
  • Ability to manage detailed financial work accurately and in an organised way.
  • Confidence in reviewing financial records and resolving queries.
  • Experience of working within an Accounting & Finance function.
