You'll engage with stakeholders across the organisation, including at CFO and Board level, providing effective challenge while helping the business strengthen and modernise its approach to risk and controls during an exciting period of growth.Job DescriptionAssess risk and controls across the organisation and its strategic value creation plan.Develop and deliver a commercially focused internal audit plan.Identify opportunities to improve and automate existing processes.Support risk technology and transformation initiatives.Produce high-quality reporting and insight for senior leadership and the Board.Build effective relationships with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business.Provide constructive challenge while remaining commercially pragmatic.Help develop a modern, value-adding approach to Internal Audit.The Successful ApplicantA successful Internal Audit Manager should have:Circa 5-8 years' experience, with a strong Internal Audit background.A track record of delivering tangible improvements rather than simply identifying issues.Experience working autonomously and taking ownership of projects.The confidence and credibility to engage with C-suite and Board-level stakeholders.Exposure to transformation, process improvement or technology-led change.An interest in how technology and AI can improve risk and audit processes.Strong commercial judgement and the ability to understand the wider business context behind risk.A proactive, dynamic approach and the confidence to challenge existing ways of working.What's on OfferThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to put their own stamp on a role rather than inherit a fixed way of working.You'll gain significant exposure to senior leadership and the Board, contribute directly to business transformation and have scope to build a strong profile across the wider Finance function.Salary between £85,000 and £100,000, dependent on the level of experience.Performance-based bonus of 10-14%.7% pension contribution match.25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.If you're interested in this role, apply now.People are at the heart of Michael Page.
