Job Description

  • Prepare timely management accounts to give the business a clear view of financial performance.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and investigate any variances to improve reporting quality.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, helping teams plan with reliable financial data.
  • Analyse income and costs, highlighting key trends and areas that need attention.
  • Prepare regular financial reports for internal stakeholders in a clear, accessible format.
  • Reconcile financial information to ensure figures are complete and accurate.
  • Work with colleagues across the business to gather information needed for reporting and planning.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Management Accountant' should have:

  • Experience preparing management accounts and regular financial reports.
  • Strong accounting knowledge, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Experience of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Confidence analysing financial data and explaining findings clearly.
  • Good attention to detail when reconciling and reviewing financial information.
