Job Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary for senior leadership.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and KPIs, providing actionable insights.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets.
  • Support year-end processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance.
  • Provide financial advice to non-finance managers and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of management accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and experience with accounting systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
