Job Description

  • Manage and develop relationships with key accounts to drive sales and growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of account strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profitability.
  • Monitor account performance and provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Address customer queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Represent the company at industry events and client meetings to enhance brand presence.

The Successful Applicant

A successful National Account Manager should have:

  • MUST have Grocery Experience
  • Proven experience in account management within the FMCG industry.
  • A strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in analysing data and market trends to inform decision-making.
  • A results-driven attitude with a focus on achieving targets.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience with CRM software is desirable.
