Job Description

Project Manager / Engineer, Newbury:

  • Take full ownership of new product projects from prototype to mass production
  • Extensive communication of progress, problems, solutions, timescales, finances with all stakeholders & customers
  • Control project timelines, budgets, and technical delivery
  • Coordinate with production, sales, and customer stakeholders
  • Develop manufacturing processes and production documentation
  • Ensure all procedures meet quality, safety, and traceability standards
  • Identify risks early and resolve technical or delivery challenges
  • Support material procurement and cost control activities
  • Drive improvements in efficiency and manufacturing performance



The Successful Applicant

Project Manager /Engineer, Newbury:

  • Excellent communicator who can influence across teams and customers
  • Experience in a Project Manager or similar role within manufacturing
  • Background supporting products from development into production
  • Understanding of both low and high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution
  • Comfortable working without direct reports but influencing widely
  • Engineering degree, HND, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Practical, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
