Sourcing multiple roles for Royal British Legion case study Michael Page Consultancy


The background

The executive board devised a new corporate strategy. This included the metrics of internal performance and to change the way the public viewed, and engaged with the Royal British Legion. They needed to build a team of high performing consultants to help deliver a group wide organisational change programme. We had worked with the programme director as a candidate, so he felt confident in using Michael Page Consultancy exclusively to staff his programme team.

The solution

We used a mixture of approaches to fill the roles depending upon the specific requirements. The majority were filled using our own database. We used our online advertising solution, Reach Talent, to fill the more difficult roles. This involved advertising on,,, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Google.

The outcome

  • All roles were filled within the timelines agreed
  • The advertised roles generated new candidates who went on to play a big part in the successful delivery of the programme
  • The recruitment drive for this programme is complete and we now recruit into Royal British Legion’s finance function.
